Durable Medical Equipment

Wheelchairs, Walkers, Shower Chairs, Commodes, and more

The local Councils on Aging often have Durable Medical Equipment available to borrow.  Inventory is always changing.

Donations of medical equipment, unopened adult sanitary items, bed pads, grab bars, and more are requested, based on our space availability. Contact us if you want to donate something OR if you need anything: 508-758-4110 or email coadirector@mattapoisett.net.

Ramp Donation Program - through the Habitat for Humanity Brush with Kindness program. In many cases, the Habitat for Humanity can supply a metal ramp. If any modifications are needed to tailor the ramp to your home, the family could receive a no-interest loan for the cost of the materials needed (often the cost is minimal due to discounted materials and donated labor. Habitat for Humanity is also accepting donations of ramps. REQUIPMENT - A resource for finding and donating used medical equipment.  

  • Click on "Search Inventory" and put in the item you are searching.  
  • If the item you need is within an hour's distance, and there is no other option in our local area, the COA may be able to assist with tranporting the item to you, if possible.  Contact the COA for more info.
