Today is Teacher Appreciation Day so we want to say thank you to all of the Tri-Town educators that have worked with Mattapoisett Land Trust for years to bring environmental education opportunities to local students. Our MLT Education Committee and volunteers are made up of many current and former educators. With the help of a grant from Extreme Terrain’s Clean Trails Initiative, and the volunteer power of Tabor Academy students and staff, Mattapoisett Land Trust is in the process of creating a brand new trail that will connect to the existing trail system in the Brandt Island Cove District.
