“Pledge of Allegiance” and a “Moment of Silence” for those who have served our Country.

ACTION ITEMS

  • Vote to reappoint to the Finance Committee Judy Mooney of 22 Crystal Spring Road, Mattapoisett and Donald Carlstrom of 5 Abby Lane, Mattapoisett, MA. ( Grace Knox will be in at 7:30 for this.)
2.      Vote to sign and approve the warrant for the September Primary Election.

        7:05 p.m. -     Appointments to the Aquaculture AdHoc Committee

NOTES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.      Next Selectmen’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.   There will not be a second meeting of the Board in the month of August.  


TOWN ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT

  • Discussion about Fall Special Town Meeting. Date for     meeting. What is expected to be on.
  • Report on Department Head Goals and Objectives for new                             
fiscal year.

  • Schedule Meetings with other Town Boards, Committees and  
 Commissions on our agenda.

  • Update on SRPEDD’s Sustainability HUD Grant application.       
 Letter of Support.

  • Seeking members for the Town’s Facility Evaluation   
Committee


INCOMING AND OUTGOING CORRESPONDENCE
        
  • Updated information from Comcast regarding customer   
             service and channel upgrades.

  • The Mattapoisett Congregational Church will be holding their “Homecoming Sunday” on September 12th at Ned’s Point with a worship service starting at 10 a.m. with a cookout to follow.

EXECUTIVE SESSION -  Pursuant  to MGL Ch. 39 sec. 23B for Ongoing Collective Bargaining discussion, and an Open Meeting would have a detrimental effect upon the bargaining position of the Town. The Board will not reconvene into open session at the conclusion of this session.
